Wall Street Journal: Padel Tennis Courts are the Newest Luxury Amenity

The Wall Street Journal reports that many new padel tennis courts “are popping up in homes, particularly luxury properties because of the sport’s reputation as a game for the affluent.” Other reasons: the sport is easy for beginners to pick up quickly–and because the game is played in doubles it makes for easy socializing; and a padel tennis court has a smaller footprint, requiring only about a third the space of a tennis court.
